Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Agricultural Worker to assist with daily farm operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, cultivating, irrigating, harvesting crops, caring for livestock (where applicable), maintaining farm equipment, and ensuring that farm activities are carried out efficiently while following safety and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate should be physically fit, willing to work outdoors under varying weather conditions, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Plant, water, weed, and harvest crops.
Feed, monitor, and care for livestock (if applicable).
Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides according to safety guidelines.
Prepare land for cultivation and planting.
Monitor crop health and report pests or diseases.
Assist with irrigation and drainage systems.
Clean and maintain farm buildings, tools, and equipment.
Load, unload, sort, and package agricultural products.
Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Keep basic records of farm activities and production.
Perform any other farm-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Education
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC, OND, NCE, or equivalent.
Certificate or diploma in Agriculture or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in farming or agricultural operations.

Skills and Competencies
Basic knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management.
Ability to operate simple farm tools and machinery.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Basic record-keeping skills are an advantage.
Ability to work under different weather conditions.
Additional Requirements
Must be physically fit.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
Ability to relocate or reside close to the farm location is an added advantage.
Must demonstrate honesty, punctuality, and commitment to work.
